Quitting Today!

Today you are taking the first step to a healthier lifestyle — it's a day to celebrate! Let your friends and family know this is your quit day and ask them for their patience, support and encouragement. If you're having second thoughts, listen to the videos in the Preparing for my Quit Day section above or talk with a Health Coach for added guidance and support. And remember to take it one day at a time.

Trying to Stay Quit

Quitting smoking is a journey and it takes time. Be mindful of the changes you'll notice in your body, attitude and demeanor. Some days may be more difficult than others. Know your smoking triggers and have a plan to work around them. Don't think of smoking as all or none—if you slip, don't beat yourself up or dwell on the past, just move forward and get right back on track. Maintaining a positive, guilt-free attitude can help throughout the journey to total freedom from tobacco. Consider talking with a Health Coach who is specially-trained in smoking cessation. Your Health Coach can help you work through those urges and slip-ups.
